New Delhi, Dec.22 (ANI): The India International Center (IIC) in the national capital suspended an art exhibition of artist M.Hussain after reportedly receiving threats from right wing groups. The exhibition began on Tuesday under heavy security. The prestigious hub of liberal political and artistic discourse in the capital is yet to decide on continuing the show. The exhibition features 20-odd prints from his Mughal India series. It is the first large-scale show of Husain's works after almost 19 years. Hussain is currently in self-exile in Dubai after protests in India over his bold depiction of Hindu goddesses. (ANI) |
