London, Nov 23 'Britain's Got Talent' star Susan Boyle created panic on the sets of 'X-factor' when she turned up to perform at the talent show with flaming red hair.

The 48-year-old arrived in London from New York with bright red hair dye, which forced the backroom staff to do a last-minute colour change.

"It was chaos. She was due on stage at 4pm on Saturday but at 1pm she arrived with bright red hair and a great big grin," the Sun quoted a source as telling TV Biz.

"The grey bits had completely soaked up the colour and were especially vibrant. There was no way she could have gone on stage like that.

"At one point they considered giving her a wig," the source added.

Boyle finally recorded her song for the show with a darker hairdo than usual. (ANI)
