Pune, May 24 (ANI): Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Sriprakash Jaiswal has blamed the Rajasthan Government for not paying heed to intelligence warnings prior to last week's serial blasts in Jaipur.

Speaking to reporters here, Jaiswal said central intelligence agencies had passed on alerts, but the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led Government in Rajasthan had failed to act on it.

"We had sent a general input to the state that a sensitive and religious place can be under a terror attack. But we could not pinpoint that Johri Bazaar or the Hanuman Temple or the Ajmer Dargah will be hit. It is the duty of the state intelligence to investigate the intelligence inputs provided," he said.

Meanwhile, Rajasthan Police have released a three-dimensional sketch of a 24 to 26-year-old man having fair complexion, who is being viewed as a key suspect. Earlier, the police had decided to draw fresh sketches of the terror suspects after finding the earlier sketches to be inaccurate.

At least eight bombs ripped through the crowded streets of Jaipur on the evening of May 13, killing over 60 people and injuring over 200. The bombs, many strapped to bicycles, exploded within minutes of each other. (ANI)
