Chandigarh, June 24 (ANI): The Fort Ramgarh, a heritage hotel near Chandigarh, offers an all-organic gourmet's sourced from the finest organic food growers of the region.

Situated on the way to the hill stations of Shimla and Kullu Manali, the Fort Ramgarh is proud of a 350-year-old history that recalls the era of Chandel Rajputs.

It is the first and only heritage resort in India, which serves pure vegetarian dishes and only non-alcoholic beverages.

Traditional chefs specializing in Indian, Frontier and Continental cuisines prepare exotic dishes.

Tourists find The Ramgarh Fort enroute as a prime destination to stay and have the delicious and pure meals.

"Earlier, when fertilizers were not used in farming, people were healthy. Since the usage of chemicals and fertilizers has increased, the life span of man has reduced. If we are following an old method, then nothing is better than that," said Raj Kumar, a customer.

Navjot Sharma, another customer added, "Everybody knows that organic food is good for health. Firstly, one keeps away from diseases and the original taste of food remains. So, if we get organic food, we can then get the real taste of the food."

Original artifacts around the Fort hotel, items of daily use of the maharajas in their time, showpieces and mementos, cast a spell and the organic food makes it unique. (ANI)
