New Delhi June 24 President Pratibha Patil replaced the Governors of Karnataka, Bihar, and Madhya Pradesh. According to a communiqui issued by the Rashtrapati Bhavan, Devanand Konwar will be the new Governor of Bihar replacing R L Bhatia. Karnataka Governor Rameshwar Thakur has been transferred to Madhya Pradesh in place of Balram Jhakar for his remaining tenure. And former Union Law Minister H R Bharadwaj replaces Rameshwar Thakur as Karnataka Governor. (ANI) |
