Lahore, Oct. 24 Pakistan's Interior Minister Rehman Malik and Finance Minister Shaukat Tareen have been asked not to hold meetings with foreign ambassadors without informing the Foreign Office.

According to the Daily Times, the FO notice came in the wake of Malik and Tareen meeting with US Ambassador Anne Patterson and British High Commissioner Robert Brinkley on their own.

The FO issued a notice instructing all ministers against holding meetings with envoys.

All foreign envoys have also been asked not to meet Pakistani government officials without informing the FO.

Malik and Tareen have been meeting with the British and US envoys for the past six months. (ANI)
