London, Aug 25 (ANI): Popstar Anastacia has confessed to lying about her age for nearly a decade, and revealed that she actually is 40.

The 'Not that kind' popstar always lied about being in her thirties, even when she was diagnosed with breast cancer at 35, she maintained that she was only 31.

"I've always lied about my age, I'm thrilled I can finally be 40," British tabloid The Sun quoted her as saying.

"Every interview I did I had to rethink when I was born," she added.

The 40-year-old popstar admitted that she had to come clean, as it was getting embarrassing with each passing day. (ANI)
