London, Aug 25 (ANI): Prince William's look-alike Matthew Turpin has died from an undiagnosed heart defect aged 24. Turpin had appeared in a string of TV shows, and begun his career as a celebrity double after he was mobbed by tourists, who mistook him for William, during a family visit to Windsor. With the talent he had, he funded his own university degree by appearing and being featured on Blue Peter and Celebrity Stars in Their Eyes. From the inquest conducted into his death, it was learnt that he had died in his sleep at his home in the Oxfordshire village of Heathfield. Tests have revealed symptoms of cardiomyopathy that can cause sudden death. The inquest in Oxford recorded a verdict of death by natural causes. "With this illness you don't know if you have got it-and you can go to sleep and not wake up," News of the World quoted Matthew's father Patrick Turpin, 59, as saying. "How can anybody come to terms with that?" he added. (ANI)
