Oprah 'wants to close New York City highway for magazine anniversary bash'

London, Aug 25 Oprah Winfrey has reportedly sought permission to close parts of a New York City highway next year for a huge party, in order to celebrate the tenth anniversary of her Magazine.he revelry may take place in May next year, and the TV show host intends to shut down portions of the city's West Side Highway for a blow-out block party for all her fans, according to E! Online.

A City Hall official has reportedly revealed that Oprah has made permit enquiries for the event.

There has been no confirmation from Winfrey, but her reps said: "While it is too soon to discuss specifics, we are looking forward to celebrating in a big way." (ANI)
