London, Oct 25 George Michael is all set to make a sensational appearance on the X Factor.

The pop superstar is in secret talks with show bosses about a shock appearance on the show's finale in December, which is expected to have a viewership of about 20 Million.

"This is a cloak-and-dagger operation. Everything surrounding George's appearance is shrouded in secrecy," the News of the World quoted an insider as saying.

"We're all very excited because nobody saw it coming. It's a real coup. And this will be a huge way for him to return to the music scene," added the source.

X Factor has signed up Beyonce, Pink and Shakira for performances, and is currently in negotiations with Queen of Pop Madonna. (ANI)
