Mumbai, (IndiaPRwire.com) An innovative world music vocalist, producer and world-class Salsa dancer, Giju has enthralled audiences with his versatile and energetic style and even called the Ricky Martin of India, Giju is positioned as one of the most compelling and captivating performers to hit the Indian music scene. His first album "Rang Rangeeli" meaning Color Colorful. The video, successfully debuted at the San Francisco World Salsa Congress. Given the universal appeal and growing popularity of Salsa, the CD and accompanying video are expected to be well received by the market at large. “Rang Rangeeli” is Giju's debut album with eight original songs in Hindi, including a duet with the renowned playback singer Sadhana Sargam. Collaborating on the album are Composer Benny Johnson and Lyricist Swati Sinha creating a catalyst for an unique and evolving style of musical expression. The title song titled, “Rang Rangeeli” - meaning Color Colorful - is set to salsa-pop style rhythm, with a beautiful weave of Hindi and Spanish lyrics. The theme of the song is about truly living one's life to the fullest extent. It emphasizes the need of pursuing one's dreams and cherishing friendships. The other track include version “Rang Rangeeli” in a House version; a Capella version of “Doondun Tujhe”, “Sun Panchiyon Ka Raag”, a Duet; The Indian-Rock mix “Jeena Woh Jeena Hai”; “Ashtoofah”, Techno with Arabic mix;A Peppy Melody, “Dil Ko Kiya”. The associated music video, produced in collaboration with Beyond Pix Studios, a leading broadcast company based in San Francisco, CA., features world-renowned Salsa dancers. The video can be viewed as an original and sincere effort to introduce the vibrancy of Salsa music to the Indian music scene, rich in its own legacy. Giju in his own words on “Rang Rangeeli Yeh Duniya”: I've always wanted to release my own album and be a pop star..!! Although, my education and my career path went parallel with my true passion and dream, I kept this dream alive in the inner chambers of my heart. When I set out to make this album, there was a plethora of obstacles. I was adamant on one aspect whether this album becomes a hit or not, each song in it should be of great quality and should sound refreshing. I spent a lot of time with my music director to come up with tunes and music styles that was unique and vibrant. Each song went through at least 5 revisions before completion. The journey didn't turn out to be smooth even after I was done with the album. After a lot of failed attempts to find a producer to finance my video, I decided to take that responsibility on myself. After meeting with several production companies, I decided to collaborate with Beyond Pix Studios who bowled me over with their creative side and production expertise alike. Then met with the top music companies. All of them thought it's not with the “current” trend. And interestingly, that's the last thing I wanted my songs to be like going with the current trend... I didn’t give up my search. Then one of my friends casually referred me to the “Raga to Rock” label, they agreed to sign me. This album is a true manifestation that hard work, determination and perseverance can make any of your dreams a reality..!!!!
