Islamabad, September 26 Lollywood actress Meera and her purported husband Attiqur Rehman both may have a legal case filed against each of them for spreading immorality in the society.

One Hassan Sheraz, a resident of Gujranwala, is reported to have lodged a petition in the District and Sessions Court to register a case against the two of them.

A private TV channel reported on Friday that the applicant wanted a case registered against Rehman for having married Meera without the consent of his first wife.

He also says that a case be registered against Meera for allegedly aborting her child, reports the Daily Times.

Meanwhile, the District and Sessions Court has ordered the registration of a case against the Defence-A Police station house officer (SHO), as he did not register the case against Rehman despite the court's orders.

The court also directed the capital city police officer (CCPO) to investigate the case, and to present the report on September 28. (ANI)
