Renowned sports writer Brijdendra Pandy will be honored by First Ramesh Acharya Sports Journalism award. Foundation president S L Harsh and Secretary Ashok Ohari announced Foundation’s first award on Saturday. Organising Secretary Harsh told in a press release that award will be presented in a ceremonial function which will be held at Veterinary Auditorium, Bikaner on 27 November. In this award a Certificate will be honored with cash prize Rs.11,000/-.
Award winner sports writer Brijendra Pandey is associated with Jansatta from last two decades and now a days retired Pandey is working as a web journalist.
Foundation also decided for a consolation award to the local journalist and the first award of this category will be given o Atmaram Bhati who is writing for Rajathan Patrika.
