Bangalore blasts: Police has got definite clue about blasts

Bangalore, July 27 (ANI): The investigations on the series of bomb blasts which rocked the silicon valley of India, Bangalore on Friday is progressing fast and has got definite clue about the people involved in the cowardly act.

Talking to ANI in an exclusive interview in Bangalore on Saturday, the Director General of Police and Inspector General of Police, R. Srikumar has said that there were definite leads on the involvement of local people in the ghastly act.

The DGP made it clear that this was not an isolated incident but definitely to destabilise the life in Bangalore.

He denied any intelligence failure on the part of the state police.

According to him no one has so far claimed responsibility for the blasts. The DGP finds a similarity between Bangalore blasts and blasts in other states.

According to him these were the professionally assembled bombs intend to create damage.

Meanwhile talking to ANI, commissioner of police Shankar M. Bidari said that number of leads was available but they have not zeroed in on anyone. The state police have announced a reward of rupees one lakh for anyone who gives clue. (ANI)
