The Three- Day 'Teej-Festival' was well-conducted at Pitampura Delhi-Haat, in Delhi
New Delhi, The three-day 'Teej-Festival' was concluded with hustle and bustle at Pitampura Delhi Haat, in Delhi. The mehendi competition for women was conducted in the 'Teej-Festival' and they also enjoyed the monsoon swings. The cultural evening was organized for three days by the Rajasthan Tourism Department. In the cultural evening more than 60 participants of Rajasthan binded the momentum with their cultural performances. A large number of viewers present their, appreciated the folk songs and dance performances of Rajasthan.
The programme began with the 'Bhawai' dance by Ram Saran and other artists of Jaipur. In the dance performance, 'the balancing of clay pot pitcher over the head' was very much appreciated by the viewers. The 'Kachhi Ghori' and 'Bhopa-Bhopi' dance performance by the artists from Shekhawati entertained the audience.
The circular dance associated with Krishna legend and the marvelous monsoon scenes were gracefully presented by the artist from Deeg area of Bharatpur. The presentation of Ghoomar dance by Kumari Jyoti accompanied by other artists of Tonk won the hearts of the spectators.
The 'Kaalbeliya dance performance by Moru Sapera and artists of Jaipur was the last and the best performance of the programme. The 'Langa Mangniyar' artists of Jaisalmer binded the momentum with their pleasing singing, whereas Ashok Sharma entertained the audience by producing various types of voices.
The programme was conducted by the Asst. Director of Rajasthan Tourism Ajay Sharma and Asst. Tourism Officer R K Saini.
