Islamabad, September 27 Lollywood actress Meera's pre-arrest bail in a case of theft and intimidation charges has been confirmed.

Additional District and Sessions Judge Shafiqur Rehman confirmed the interim bail of Meera, her mother Shafqat Zahra, father Syed Muhammad Sarwar, brother Ahsan Abbas and brother-in-law Mushtaq Ahmed on the bond of Rs100,000 each on Saturday.

The court confirmed the bail after hearing arguments of both sides, reports the News.

The case was registered with the Defence-A police on the complaint of Meera's self-proclaimed husband Attiqur Rehman of Faisalabad.

Rehman alleged that he married Meera on September 2, 2007, and that when he returned from abroad to his house in Defence-A on August 28, he found that the film actress and her family were stealing household items, including furniture and an electric generator.

He alleged that the accused issued him life threats while making off with the households. (ANI)
