Melbourne, Oct 28 Lily Allen may have threatened to hang up her mic but the singer shows no signs of slowing down as she has added more shows to her next year's Australian tour. Allen, who is set to perform at the national Big Day Out festival in January, will now also croon at the Hordern Pavilion on January 21, reports the Daily Telegraph. Fans can buys tickets for Allen's Big day Out sideshow from November 9. The "Fear" singer had recently disclosed on her blog, 'It's Not Alright' that she hadn't renegotiated her contract with a recording company. "Just so you know, I have not renegotiated my record contract and have no plans to make another record. I do however remain a fan of new music, so this is not some selfish crusade," Contactmusic quoted her as stating on the blog. "The days of me making money from recording music has been and gone as far as I'm concerned, so I don't stand to profit from legislation. Except future purchases of previously recorded material," she added. Allen had expressed her desire to halt her music career earlier as well. She had said: "I'm not going record and tour again for quite a while. I finish up my dates in March and I'll be ready to do something else. "I've been on the road for four years and I've given my voice a real run for its money. I'm struggling, so I'm going to try something new." Allen will now make an appearance in a London theatre production called "Reasons to be Pretty", which revolves around a group of working-class people who are bored with their lives. She had added: "The play is about themes close to my heart, about the really damaging cult of beauty among young girls."(ANI)
