Mumbai, Nov.28 Twenty four dead bodies have been recovered from the terror struck Trident-Oberoi hotel.

Two terrorists, who were holed up inside the hotel, have been killed by security forces here, said Mumbai Police Commissioner Hassan Gafoor at about 3.00 p.m.

"One terrorists has being caught alive while a total of nine terrorists have been killed so far," said Gafoor.

In all, 30 bodies have been retrieved from the hotel. On Wednesday, six bodies were recovered.

"The combing operation at the Oberoi hotel is still on with the security personnel coming from the top floor downwards. The process may take another two to four hours to finish," Gafoor said.

About the recovered boats, the Police Commissioner said: "We are getting clues from the boats and also from the recovered satellite phones that are being analysed."

Gafoor denied media reports of 'firing' in some parts of Mumbai.

He said: "All reports stating there was some firing in some areas of Mumbai are absolutely wrong. Mumbai is safe and we will ensure everyone's safe." (ANI)
