Lahore, Apr.30 (ANI): The Chief of Pakistan's Jamaat-e-Islami (JeI) and the Muttahida-Majlis-e-Amal (MMA), Qazi Hussain Ahmad, on Wednesday announced countrywide Black Day protests on May 12 if the sacked judiciary was not restored.

Addressing a news conference in Mansoora today, the Qazi said the coalition PPP-PML-N Government had not been able to restore the sacked judges despite making a promise to do so through their Bhurbun Declaration.

Replying to a question about a nexus between the MQM and the PPP, he described it as ridiculous because all the parties had pledged not to forge an alliance with the MQM.

He claimed that the MQM had bagged votes in Karachi at gunpoint.

About President Musharraf's future, he said that his impeachment is the only solution to all problems.

He said that JeI supports the stance of the PML-N, but would not allow the coalition partners to budge from the Murree Declaration. (ANI)
