Smt. Kanti Singh condoles the death of Dr. Sahib Singh Verma

The Minister of State for Heavy Industries & Public Enterprises, Smt. Kanti Singh has expressed great shock and sorrow over the tragic and untimely death of Dr. Sahib Singh Verma, former Chief Minister of Delhi and Union Minister as well.   She recalled Dr. Verma as a soft spoken, popular and cheerful personality. In his death, she said, has lost a good neighbour.
In her  condolence message Smt. Singh has said:
“I am very much shocked to learn about the tragic death of Shri Sahib Singh Verma in a fatal road accident today.   It is unbelievable to me that Shri Sahib Singh Verma is no more.  He was a stalwart of the Bharatiya Janta Party and very well established in the fields of politics and education.  He was soft spoken, very popular, cheerful and a mass-based leader.  He believed in struggle.
He represented Outer Delhi Parliamentary Constituency so many times in the Lok Sabha and was also the Chief Minister of Delhi State in the recent times. 
With his death, there has been a void in the political arena and I have lost a good Neighbour. 
I pray to God to give peace to the departed soul and courage to the aggrieved family”
