Kolkata, May 31 (ANI): The Communist Party of India (Marxist) and Revolutionary Socialist Party (RSP), who are Left Front partners, clashed with bombs and guns this morning after the Panchayat elections in Birbhum District. Trouble started on Friday night with a number of houses being torched and the violence spilled over to the morning. The RSP leader and state's Public Works Department Minister Kshiti Goswami accused the CPM of attacking RSP supporters. Goswami sought Chief Minister Buddhadev Bhattcharjee's intervention to help defuse tension in the area. Four persons were arrested for violence in this connection. (ANI)
