New Delhi, Aug 31 (ANI): The Ministry of Home Affairs on Sunday said as many as 599 load carriers with essentials and fuel arrived in the Kashmir valley during the last 24 hours up to 2 p.m. As per the information received from the Jammu and Kashmir Government, these included 72 loaded with rice, 37 with flour, six with fresh fruit, 21 with chicken and 368 with other commodities. Besides, 28 tankers with diesel, six with kerosene oil and 34 empty trucks also reached the valley during the period. Moreover, 628 trucks and tankers left the valley for different destinations in the country during the past 24 hours up to 2 p.m. today. These include 201 trucks loaded with fruits, 38 with vegetables, 97 with other commodities and 292 empty tankers left the valley after off-loading the fuel. (ANI)
