London, October 31 Michael Jackson is "worth more dead than he was alive", his father Joe has said in an interview on US TV.

The 80-year-old made the shocking revelation on the Extra programme, but quickly added: "But I'd rather have him alive."

"I cry when I'm off to myself and I start thinking about things we went through," the Mirror quoted him as telling the programme.

The dad-of-10 was often the subject of his son Michael's troubled childhood.

The King of Pop, who died in June this year, spoke openly about the abuse he suffered at the hands of his father. (ANI)
