London, Oct 31 Pamela Anderson has said that a Baywatch movie, as rumoured to be in conception, would be "pointless" without her.

The 42-year-old actress starred alongside David Hasselhoff as lifeguard CJ Parker in the long-running TV series.

But she believes any kind of film adaptation of the hit TV series would be ill conceived, and she would prefer it if filmmakers did not tamper with Baywatch.

"I'd like to kind of leave it as it was - I'm not a big fan of when they recreate television series for movies," the Mirror quoted her as saying.

"But a good friend of mine is always saying to me 'Just remember how important you are to that movie. They can't make that movie without you,'" she added. (ANI)
