Kolkata, Oct.31 West Bengal Governor Gopal Krishna Gandhi on Saturday released Minister of State for External Affairs Shashi Tharoor's book, "Shadows Across the Playing Fields" - Sixty Years of India-Pakistan Cricket", co-authored by former Pakistan Cricket Board President Shaharyar Khan. The book has been published by Roli Books and is priced at Rs 295. On the occasion, Tharoor said, after the attack on the Sri Lankan team, cricketing relations with Pakistan has been strained for all cricket-playing nations, as terrorism was always a matter of great concern. He said an Indo-Pak bi-lateral series between the two countries was not possible in the current situation when the threat from terrorists loomed large. Tharoor spoke about his interest in the game during a conversation with sportswriter Boria Majumdar on the occasion. He aid he had played cricket and was familiar with the game. By Ajitha Menon (ANI)
