Aims & Objects:
Bikaner Division includes Churu, Hanumangarh,
Ganganagar & Bikaner Districts. Bikaner District
is Asia's biggest wool centre, where 115 woolen
unites are working. It is a cluster of food
processing industries. 750 units are
manufacturing Bhujia, Papad & Rasgulla. Best
quality of Ball Clay is also available. On this
resource - Sanitaryware, Mineral Grinding,
Ceramic Insulator & Wall tiles units are working
here. |

Bikaner district is also known for its special
carving & handicraft products. Golden Painting on
the camel's leather, Glass work, Miniature Paintings, Glass works on cloth with 'kashida'
designing works, Handmade cloths, Shall, Khaish, Blanket and
'Rajiv Shall' are very famous. Bikaneri Bandhej work is also
very famous and crafting on wooden & leather is now at the
development stage and still trying to be at standard
quality. |

main aim of this Mela is to help Handicraft & industrial
products of this District get recognisation of quality
product, & thus help them in marketing. It is also a
platform to introduce new technology.

We are going to organise Bikaner Trade
Craft Fair from 5 Feb. to 14 Feb., 2007 at Sadul
Club Ground, Bikaner. We are planning
to have 300 stalls in this fair and going to set
focus on Industrial products with Craft & IT
services also. |
