हेप्पी बर्थडे डूंगरपुर ! राजस्थान के ठीक दक्षिण में अवस्थित छोटा सा शहर डूंगरपुर बुधवार २१ नवंबर को अपना ७२६ वां स्थापना दिवस मना रहा है। कार्तिक शुक्ला (देव प्रबोधिनी) एकादशी के दिन ही विक्रम संवत् १३३९ (१२८२ ईं.) को डूंगरपुर नगर की खूंटी गाडी गई थी। जिला प्रशासन व पर्यटन विभाग द्वारा प्रतिवर्ष की भांति इसी उपलक्ष में बुधवार से पांच दिवसीय रंगारंग महोत्सव का आयोजन कर नगर स्थापना की खुशियां मनाई जा रही हैं।
