THE ROYAL CREMATORIUM HAS SEVERAL EXQUISITE CENOTAPHS (CHHATRIS) WHICH WERE BUILT IN MEMORY OF THE RULERS OF BIKANER ROYAL FAMILY. THE CHHATRIS (CENOTAPHS) OF THE EARLY RULERS WERE MADE FROM RED SAND STONE ORNAMENTATION ON WHICH RESEMBLES VERY MUCH WITH CARVING WORK ON SOME OF THE BUILDINGS OF FATEHPUR SIKRI. THE LATER CENOTAPHS WERE MADE FROM MARBLE AND VERY BEAUTIFULLY SCULPTED AND ORNAMENTED. RAJPUT PAINTINGS ADORN THE CEILINGS OF SOME OF THE CENOTAPHS.
