BIG 92.7 FMs Beach Volley Ball on World AIDS DAY

Overwhelming response from government & industry representatives

Hyderabad, (IndiaPRwire) To spread awareness on forming an integrated society without discrimination and biases with the AIDS affected individuals, BIG 92.7 FM, India’s no.1 FM station today on the occasion of World AIDS Day organised “Play Beach Volley ball with the AIDS affected”. Through this unique sporty activity, a social platform was created to encourage people to play, interact and mix with the AIDS affected and thus strives to integrate them into the society.
The initiative received overwhelming response from the representatives of government and industry participating and socializing with the AIDS affected. Mr. Jayesh Ranjan, MD & Vice-chairman- HUDA, Mr. G Asok Kumar-Project Director- APSACS clipped the symbol of the fight against AIDS- the ‘red ribbon’ on the t-shirts of participants.
Industry was represented by companies like Airtel, Agro Tech Ltd., Tempest Advertising, Sierra Atlantic, ICICI prudential, Prithvi Information solutions, Yatri Niwas etc. The eve became more enticing when RJ Chetan entertained the crowd with his ‘bheja fry’ weird takes. Fueling the excitement were the ‘cheer-girls’ who ensured every good shot got their loud compliments.
Commenting on the occasion, Mr. Ashwin Padmanabhan, Station Director- BIG 92.7 FM said, “More than the deadly virus, people are affected with the untouchable mindset of the society. By organizing the beach volley ball match, BIG FM as a responsible medium tried to address the need for their integration into the society. BIG FMs industry association came hands-on with employees of various companies actively participating for this noble cause”.
