It’s a story of two neighbors’ with living on the same floor. One is Gujarati Hansmukh Lal Mehta and another one Harvansh Lal Mehta is from Punjab. As the name plates of both carries the same initials i.e. H.L.Mehta, it creates a confusion for everyone...and the confusion leads to situation full of laughter.
Punjabi family has Govind Khatri, Nilu Kohli and Giriraj Kabra and Gujarati family consists of Muni Jha, Sejal Shah and Sanjeeda Sheikh. The plot where the building is now standing once happened to be Kader Khan tabela (buffalo shed).
It’s directed by Sunil Prasad, before this he has directed many serials like `Banegi Apni Baat’, ‘Shaanti’, ‘Shagun’, ‘Kum kum’ etc & Bhojpuri film like ‘Mai Rey Karde Bidai Hamaar’, ‘Dulha Milal Dildar’, ‘Maati’, ‘Jab Lahu pukarela’ & many more.
