Incident of theft occurred at Sardul Museum

The first silver lock which was used in Post office of Bikaner has been stolen by thief. The incident occurred on Sunday in Sardul Museum situated at Lalgarah Palace. From this museum two other locks along with keys has been stolen and along with those medals which had been given to personnel for their best performances

Bikaner, The first silver lock which was used in Post office of Bikaner has been stolen by thief. The incident occurred on Sunday in Sardul Museum situated at Lalgarah Palace. From this museum two other locks along with keys has been stolen and along with those medals which had been given to personnel for their best performances. 

On Tuesday a FIR has been filed against this incident at Bachchiwal police station by museum In-Charge Radheshyam Syam Singh. Mr. Singh told that the lock which had been used for inaugurating Post Office by Maharaja GamgaSingh was stolen. This lock was exhibited at museum campus. 

The two other silver inaugurated locks of a school of Jamnagar and a campus of Churu have been stolen by thief along with keys. A gold plated key is also missed. A chain crafted of Mina and two gold layer medals are also missed. Those medals which were given to personnel by Maharaja are also kept there. In these thirteen medals of state level and seven individual medals have been already stolen. 

The medal of international shooter Dr. Karni Singh was also exhibited in the museum which was left safe by thief. This medal was won in the Kahira World Cup 1961. The other things kept besides this medal was stolen. 

A sword has also been taken by thief from museum but while they were going out dropped it in its campus. This sword has later kept in the museum.

The coordinator of Mahraja Ganga Singh Trust told that theft medals and locks are too much invaluable from cultural and monarchy point of view.
